Relaxed and fun Pangbourne Wedding : Nat and Eleri

IF YOU LOVE COLOUR THEN YOU’LL ADORE THIS FUN AND COLOURFUL WEDDING!

Nat and Eleri got married at the lovely boutique hotel The Elephant in Pangbourne, this May. It was a super fun laid back wedding, with the most gorgeous flowers on the tables and so much colour and Rustic charm everywhere.

Getting ready

The Elephant in Pangbourne was where Nat and Eleri got ready.  Separately but together upstairs, and downstairs, with their bridesmaids & mums. The vibe was awesome. All the girls across both rooms were so much fun, much like excited kids the night before a Disneyland holiday. There were some nerves from both Nat & Eleri in the morning, but nothing that a little champagne & calming words couldn’t fix. Both girls wore stunning strapless gowns, that suited them, and their individual styles and they looked stunning, I think you’ll agree.

Getting Hitched

The ceremony took place at The Elephant. The ceremony area was a beautiful room, which was so nice because it was a beautiful sunny day and the light was streaming through the large windows. The ceremony began with Eleri walking down the aisle with her dad followed by Nat and her dad and finished with the ladies walking back down the aisle and a big cheer from everyone. It was a wonderful ceremony, full of so much love and excited hand squeezes. Two readings added extra that extra personal touch and Eerie was so overwhelmed she was literally falling out of her seat.

The reception

After the ceremony, we headed into the gardens where cocktails were served. The couple mingled with their guests, which was the perfect time for me to get candid photos. Their wedding breakfast was quite early, so we did the group shots & opted to wait till after dinner, to take them down to the river for photos, which was such a great idea as it meant the newly married couple to have some time to themselves. We got some stunning couples photos in the buttercup meadow. Nat and Eleri chose to have their wedding at The Elephant in Pangbourne because it’s so cosy, relaxed and has so many options. The Elephant is a quirky hotel, and it’s got a really lovely vibe, especially in the main room where the Wedding Breakfast was held.

The party

After a quick turnaround, they cut the cake and had their first dance. The band started up to get the party started. The live band played all the best songs to get everyone dancing and the dance floor was full and so lively.

The whole wedding was so much fun, from the beautiful vows to the awesome live band. Nat & Elerie wanted colour and fun for their wedding & they certainly delivered. Everyone was there to celebrate with them & were so happy that after all the years, they were finally making it official.

We had the best day celebrating you, with your friends and families. We were made to feel like part of the celebrations from the word go.

For us, the best part of the wedding was the speeches, because they varied from sentimental (from all 4 speakers) to the crude jokes that shocked everyone and finally the epic Best woman’s reworked Disney singalong. The flowers were also a talking point of the wedding – I mean just look at them. So bright, vibrant and exactly what they were wanting.

We loved working at The Elephant in Pangbourne and this wedding so much. If you’re getting married at The Elephant in Pangbourne and are looking for a wedding photographer, get in touch.
